Job Summary
Kforce is seeking a Project Management Consultant to manage multiple energy storage projects in Arizona and New Mexico. This role involves critical coordination of matrixed development teams, technical scope development, project variable optimization, and supporting origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations. The consultant will also coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement, manage financial models, and execute commercial contracts for services. Regular presentations on progress, issues, and risk mitigation are required.
Must Have
- Manage multiple energy storage projects in AZ/NM.
- Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams.
- Ensure resources are focused to meet project schedules.
- Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, interconnection teams.
- Develop the project's technical scope.
- Optimize project variables for technical and financial feasibility.
- Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations.
- Support development teams with jurisdictional needs.
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement requirements.
- Support E&C engineering team with technical attributes for designs.
- Support E&C cost estimating team for financial model development.
- Actively seek and leverage market data for financial model health.
- Present financial model to business units and manage through executive budget approvals.
- Competitively source, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts for critical services.
- Uphold and represent E&C's interests on assigned projects.
- Provide regular presentations/briefings on current progress, issues, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure projects can be turned over to the Project Manager with an inclusive and executable plan.
- Possess experience in a similar role or significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to perform responsibilities.

Job Description
This position is not focused on a single project, but rather the management of multiple projects all at varying stages. This role will manage project management for energy storage projects in AZ/NM.
Responsibilities:
- Critical coordination of highly matrixed project development teams to ensure resources are focused on the right activity at the right time to meet project schedule
- Coordinating with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, interconnection, etc., to ensure all project variables are identified and incorporated
- Development of the project's technical scope
- Optimization of project variables to improve both technical and financial feasibility
- Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations
- Support development teams with jurisdictional needs
- Coordinate engineering, estimating and procurement requirements
- Support the E&C engineering team with technical attributes for the development of designs
- Support the E&C cost estimating team for development of financial model
- Actively seek out and leverage market data to ensure financial model is healthy
- Present financial model to respective business unit(s) and actively manage financial model thru executive budget approvals
- Competitively source, negotiate and execute commercial contracts for critical services including geotechnical, survey, engineering and EPC/PC services
- Uphold and represent E&C's interests on assigned projects
- Regular presentations/briefing on current progress, issues and risk mitigation in meetings with various levels of management
- Ensure projects moving to the stage can be turned over to the Project Manager with an inclusive and executable plan
Requirements:
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
